Peggy Lent
Peggy was born in Rome, New York. She moved to Morrisville, New York in her younger years and graduated from Morrisville-Eaton Central High School in 1969. After marrying and starting a family, Peggy went back to school in 1975 and attended Morrisville Agricultural and Technical College (MATC), and received her Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. After receiving her degree, Peggy worked in higher education as a Secretary for the Psychology Department, the Counseling Center and the Equal Opportunity Program there at MATC.
In 1991 Peggy, her husband Richard and their two children moved to Tyler, Texas. Peggy joined the staff here at Lon Morris College in January of 2003 as a Resident Hall Director. In August of 2007 to present, Peggy has been working as an Administrative Assistant in the Financial Aid Office.
Peggy’s family – Peggy has been married to her husband Richard for 39 years. Richard is also a Lon Morris employee (Assistant Softball Coach/Athletic Fields and Gymnasium Maintenance). They have two sons – Scott and Jamie, two daughters-in-law – Natalie and Ann, and five grandchildren – Christopher, Andrew, Nicholas, Allison, and Emily Rose.
